through Multidisciplinary Evidence-Based Care

Welcome to the first and only Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) Program in Canada

The GoodHope EDS program is a unique multidisciplinary program which assesses, diagnoses, and treats patients with a diagnosis of Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) or Generalized Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (G-HSD).

Our program focuses on providing comprehensive assessment, disease self-management support, and research to improve the lives of individuals with EDS and G-HSD.

What is EDS?

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) is group of multisystemic connective tissue disorders characterized by generalized joint hypermobility, skin hyperextensibility, and tissue fragility.

Symptoms vary widely and may include joint instability, chronic pain, functional gut disorders, headaches and migraines, chronic fatigue, autonomic dysfunction, mast cell dysfunction, and mood disorders
